Cordelia Hartley writes supernatural thrillers and mysteries where the unexplained is never quite as simple as it seems.

Like many of her heroines, Cordelia began investigating the unexplained at a young age. Decades of researching paranormal phenomena, exploring haunted places, and experiencing things she still can’t fully explain eventually led her to do what storytellers have always done with the mysteries that haunt them—write them down.

​

Those real experiences and years of research now weave their way into her fiction, forming the foundation of her magnum opus, The Veritas Chronicles—a supernatural thriller and mystery series where secrets have consequences, the past refuses to stay buried, and sometimes the impossible is simply waiting to be discovered.

A 40-something creative living in East Texas, Cordelia divides her time between writing, research, painting, creating art, reading, singing, traveling, and spending time with her dog. She continues to visit paranormal hotspots and speak about the paranormal, storytelling, and the fascinating places where fact, folklore, mystery, and imagination intersect. She also hopes to bring her stories to life someday through film and television.

Now, as she steps into the world of independent publishing and online storytelling, Cordelia is building more than an author platform. She wants to create a community for readers, paranormal enthusiasts, mystery lovers, and curious minds—a place to explore the mysteries behind her books, meet the characters, discuss the unexplained, and share stories and experiences of their own.
